I have two revues. One has no problem with youtube and playing a full playlist automatically going from one video to another. The other just stops at the end of one of the segments and refuses to go on, keeping the playback controls visible.

Was thinking about doing another hard reset and wiping the device, but was hoping someone here would have something that I could try first.

    Thanks.

I'm a new boy with a similar issue. BUT, all I can do is start the entire play-list jumping from one video to the next automatically. I can't seem to move the highligt to a any video to select the one I want to play. I put the cursor over it and click the "mouse" button, but all it does is launch the first video in the play-list

Considering that Google own both YouTube and Android, it's confusing that Google TV has the worst implementation of the YouTube interface.
It's just not fun to browse YouTube on Google TV.

It is not confusing at all once you realize that each service provided by Google is ran independently by their own group. The different business units are balkanized under the Google umbrella and are responsible for their own success. So, each of them has their own priorities. While I think they are all headed generally in the same direction, it is an asynchronous effort at different rates and levels of cooperation.

How do you get to you tube movie rentals within the you tube app?

    Actually, you can...

Simply go to the You Tube Broadcast Yourself site. Click on the movie Icon. Choose Free movies from there. Select 2 or 3 movies and click on Play Later. Go to Youtube via the App and click on My Youtube. Your movies should be there under Play Later. And there should be no reason why a rented movie shouldn't perform the same. Though I gotta admit, I ain't paying for NO youtube movie just to find out.

They just don't have any movies I'd be willing to risk a dollar for...

    PS:

I love the Youtube App. It will allow you to play all videos from search results without that annoy end where you have to choose from several video pictures. Yuk! And while playing a video you can use your directional down key to see all the videos in the playlist back & forward.

I'm guessing that only works for the "Free Movies" category, because they don't have to worry about added security measures, as they do for paid content. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense for them to keep that "update notice" about Google TV incompatibility in their support pages.

    Okay, I took the bait...

I have a refund coming! Not that I deserve it.

    Thanks Eferz

I think I'm gonna just enjoy what works and post less.

    Hi

Has anyone who has the problem with the video looping, tried to see if the App works using the search feature? Just try a search and see if the App will play through the list of videos. If it does, maybe a forced stop might be in order.
