That is not Google TV, it is an Android box. All Google TV boxes have built in Wi-Fi, no exceptions. I would return it as that was a misleading auction ad, you aren't the first to get stuck with one of those things.

Here is a link to the auction for anybody that wants to be informed and able to avoid buying these things.

Android google TV box 2.2 Media Player TV Box WiFi dvb-t USB SD MMC RMVB MP4 New | eBay

If you decide to keep it, an ethernet to Wi-Fi adapter would work. If the USB ports are powered and I would assume they must be, the Netgear WNCE2001 dual band adapter would be a good choice. I use Linksys WGA600N dual band ethernet to Wi-Fi adapters in my house, powered by AC outlet and they work great.

If you are hoping to find a way to load drivers and use a USB to Wi-Fi adapter, good luck, I think you will need it.

Yes but he isn't asking about the Co-Star, he is asking about an Android TV box, see auction linked above for the specific product.

    hi labmanmi,
chrisg8 is right. i bought an android tv instead of a google one. so.. problems arise.
this one has no wifi suport, and since i have a wifi dongle around i thought i might use it.
got the windows driver cd, but... don't know how to use it.
    newbies...

The only thing I can think of is contact the manufacturer of the Android TV box and inquire about using a USB Wi-Fi adapter, that is if you can figure out what company made it and if that company has a customer support representative. The description indicates USB Wi-Fi support, although that probably doesn't actually mean any USB Wi-Fi adapters exist that can be used, only that if a manufacturer decides to make one, it is possible. The chance the specific adapter you own can be used with this box is about the same as the odds you will walk outside this morning and a million dollars will fall out of the sky into your hands, not impossible of course, but from a practical standpoint, it roughly approaches impossible.

You might connect to the internet using ethernet, go to the USB Wi-Fi adapter company website and see if Android drivers exist and if you can download a driver using the box. I can't imagine that is remotely possible but all I expect can happen is nothing, you won't be able to downlad any drivers, no harm to the box is likely.

    thanks all for your help.

i'm returning the box to seller this week.
there were to many "bad" things about it.
no wifi, no dvb-t, and besides all that it was very very slow when browsing the web.

hope i'll have my money back and buy a good one.
    do you have any recomendation?
the musts are: wifi, dvb-t and browsing capability. (and media player of course)

    greetings
    rui

I don't have any experience with DVB-T and can't think of a box that includes it and does the other things you want as well. If Google TV has been released in your country, a good DVB-T box in conjunction with Google TV would be my choice, I am a big Google TV fan. As I indicated with my first post in this thread, I think returning that box is a good idea, good luck.

As of now, only one option for inexpensive Google TV, Vizio.com but I am not sure of the timing regarding release in your country. Vizio or Sony are the only real Google TV possibilies right now, soon Hisense will have a box and hopefully a couple of others.
