    1:20 am EST and no love. I realize I am being optimistic. Hopefully it will hit with enough time don play with it before the work week starts.

    11:46am EST still no update, but I heard Sunday Night. They did say next week a few days ago....Does Sunday start the new week? "_"

    Noon est and nothing. I have pinged the update server and rebooted a few times. I would really like to see this update today.

    Sony's original rollout stated that all existing SIT units would be updated over a 4 day time span. The information i received stated it was originally to start the 24th and be 100% on the 27th. That same email would of made it sound like the dates were wrong and it was to start that that "people would be offered the update when they turn on their sets Monday morning".

    So if this info is somewhat correct then dont hold your breath for today while there's daylight.

    Still nothing... hopefully the Sony blu ray gets it today.. *sigh*

    I just got an email from google informing me of the roll out, it should be anytime now...

    Q for the two of you who got the update already: what part of the country are you in? I was told that they will be sending it out starting on the West Coast and ending East.

    Where you located? Im in TX and see nothing for the Sony Blu ray. Im going to About and then hitting system updates.

    All you can really do is guess but apparently it is tied to the MAC address on the unit. My personal guess is that Sony devices will all be treated as equals.

    actually what Maconsultant makes sense , they might not want to risk bricking a TV which is much more hassle supporting as oppose to the blu-ray player .

    hopefully we get it in the next few days.
