I plonked an SD card into a USB SD card reader and connected it to the Co-Star.

The unit recognizes the USB device and confirms 'syncing', but how do I view/play the images?

I've the the full manual end-to-end, tried a bunch of ideas, but to no avail. There also doesn't appear to be a way to add a USB device to 'Devices' so there has to be some sort of direct viewing method that I've not been able to fathom yet. :(

One last thing, I've tried the 'input' button on the remote, but all that brings up is recently used/seen items.

    Can anyone help please?!

    Thanks.

I would suggest to install a file manager such as es file explorer. Once is installed,
Click on bookmark and then go into phone/mnt/media/usb.xxxxxxxxx.

Hmm.. There should be a preinstalled app "Photoes" on any Google TV that can play images from USB storage.
