If you are having any problems with the Revue recognizing your network the Twonky Server is ideal and painless to setup. (Also a free 30 day trial)

What OS are you running? I set up my Twonky Server and my Google TV is not detecting?

    Windows 7
    No Firewall during testing

Solved. The Qwest Actiontec PK5000 router modem that I am using does not seem to play well with DLNA. Once we connected a different router, presto, everything is working.

Anyone try the free TVersity media server?

And what does the interface look like for navigating your media? Is it just a folder hierarchy with file names, or can you see thumbnails of media art like with Windows Media Center?

I am currently Using Tversity, and it works great. The first day I had it, it would not connect or even detect it, but after a while i just said screw it and restarted the server. Since then everything has been fine. The interface consists of a folder hierarchy, but tversity allows you to decide what menus/folders pop up on your device, so mine currently just displays "Folders" "Movies" and "Shows" (within Shows, are subfolders for all of the different shows I have). Nice, Simple, Clean.

Hey, that's not bad...thanks for posting that.

I like that you can chose the folders you see. My current BluRay makes you see everything from every computer sharing on the network, and it's a pain.

I wonder if there's a way to drop a pic in there somewhere to replace the generic movie thumbnail with some album art.

Honestly i doubt it otherwise someone would have done it already. I am going to research this a bit more and post back if I find anything about thumbnails.
