I am looking at adding a GTV buddy box to my system. First question is any of the buddy boxes update the android operating system like my phone does? Any have picture in picture capability? The main reason I am adding the box is to be able to easily switch to the android app IPCamera viewer and see the cameras around the house. Also, it appears that you need to wire up a IR blaster “eye” for some and from what I can tell the Vizio has is a universal remote (no eye needed) and it also uses Bluetooth for the keyboard and touch pad. Thoughts?

Stay tuned. Somewhere between July and September, all the GoogleTV boxes with ARM processors (which is virtually all of them except the logitech Revue)
are getting the Android Jelly Bean update. What specific capabilities the boxes will have after this update remains to be seen, but further updates are supposed to be on the same every-six-weeks schedule as Google Chrome.

I'd wait until after the Jelly Bean update to make a decision.
