    Hello,

I want to encode videos to keep on my computer and stream to my Google TV. I can do this already but was wondering if anyone knows the best video format to use for the encoding.

I know that MP4's are the format that will play on the Google TV, but was wondering if anyone has any advice on the settings for encoding? the resolution?

Any advice or comments will be appreciated.

    Thanks

I've been using PS3 Media server on my Intel mac w/ 10.6.6 streaming wireless. I've had about 90% success rate with any .avi file. But MKV files were a 50% success rate. All mpeg4 files i.e. ".m4v and .mp4" worked 100%.

Here's a link to the server software all versions WIN,Linux, and Mac
