I have a Sony NSZ-GT1 connected to my TV via HDMI. When using it (particularly, playing a DVD or blu-ray, which I often use it for), the audio is choppy - Every couple seconds, the audio cuts out for a fraction of a second. It happens frequently enough that it's fairly annoying. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know of a fix?

Nothing like that happens here with any source, Blu-ray, DVD or internet streaming. In general with HDMI audio dropouts, it is an HDMI connection issue. Can you try optical audio or run HDMI to a separate HDMI audio processor such as an AV Receiver?

After some further use, the audio cutout issue only seems to happen when playing a DVD. It doesn't happen when playing a blu-ray or streaming a video online. So it seems to be something about DVDs. I'm not sure what to do about it though..
