    Hi guys,
Just got my Sony NSZ-GS7 and really like it...... but..........
For some reason after having it playing just on the TV and not touching it for about 10 mins or so it then flicked off the screen and popped up saying Not Supported on the TV screen.
I have a Philips tv and this was a TV message, not from the Google TV.

Plugged in Sky satellite box directly and this works fine. So I know its not the HDMI cable or the Sky box.

Could anyone suggest what it might be?
When it happened the first time round I moved the HDMI cables a bit and then the TV picture came back on.

It did work all ok for quite some time through PLEX and Play Store though.

    Cheers

Perhaps the google tv is going to sleep, and you don't have it set for quick startup. So when it shutsdown, it's no longer able to passthru HDMI and you lose the TV signal?

That could potentially be it. Where abouts is the Quick Startup in the options?

Also try turning off the HDMI control that turns the google tv box off when the tv turns off. It can cause strange problems sometimes. Just look through the settings it's somewhere in there.

Well I dont think it was the GTV at fault. Think it was the HDMI cable with faulty internals (probs from getting squashed).
Have replaced the HDMI cable with a flat 1.4 version one and that has seemed to stopped it from switching off when moving the cable so slightly near the GTV.
Have also turned off the HDMI control too just in case.
Is there any point of HDMI control? Does it do much? Benefit me?

It turns the google tv box off when you turn your tv off. Saves energy.
