    Hi all,

I just received the new update for the NSZ-GT1 that SONY Just Released Today!!

    Build Number: 2012022201_WWV_ORSC_20120220101419

However, after checking the Sony Support site, I have noticed that this latest upgrade is not mentioned??
Only the previous "3D" Upgrade is mentioned (version OGM V3.2_2012012601):

    Sony eSupport - NSZ-GT1 - Support

The description of this new upgrade, only says that it will "Improve System Stability"

Since the downloaded file is more than 230MB, I would like to know what fixes or corrections to the system, could have included SONY in this latest update?

That's, sadly, usually the case with super-fast, unexpected updates. Not confirming it (I have a Revue) but it's usually Sony's modus operandi.

I really do not find nothing new or faster in this update, so
you may be are right and this upgrade is to block gtvhacker's root exploit...

I am very curious, and would like to know what corrections or improvements could had included SONY in this latest update, and why is not mentioned at the Official Sony Support Site?

Some of you have found something new?

After installing this update today, I went online to see what it was for and fount out about the hack. I tried to do it and it does not work. I assume that this update was to prevent the hack. I sure hope someone figures out how to get past this latest update!
