Sony Google TV Remote sopped working with Comcast box

When I first got my Sony Google TV the set up was flawless, everything was working fine. Recently the cable box can no longer be controlled by my Sony remote, I have tried using set up to use all the codes but none of them seem to work.

Anyone else have a similar issue and have a fix for it?

 

I had the same thing happen... I did the alt ctrl delete and it rebooted, this seemed to fix the problem. The other time it happened, I hit the DVR button and for some reason it worked.

 

Yea doesn't seem to work. Run through the set up multiple times after restarting it and can not seem to get it to change channels. It worked before, didn't get an update. I am gonna check the wires the plug into the back and send the signal to the comcast box.

EDIT:Ok find my problem...seems the IR Blaster cable was somehow cut behind my entertainment center. It's pretty fragile, once i got both pieces out i was able to pull them apart pretty easily. So, be careful!

Now if i can find somewhere to buy a replacement.

 

I belive that it is actually a standard piece and if you take it to a radio shack they might have something that will work
