Just a quick question: Does anyone else find that the Sony Internet TVs, particularly the 40" sets seem bigger than 40"?

I just bought that one yesterday and size wise it seems as it should.

Go find an old sweater. Then, using a ball point pen, pick at the yarn until you get enough that you can grab it with you fingers... preferably with you index (pointer) finger and your opposable thumb. Pull the sweater apart until you have a considerable amount of yarn. Now pull the yarn tight diagnolly across the screen from the top left corner of the screen to the bottom right. Pinch your fingers where the corners of the display meet the yarn. Now quickly run next door and ask your neighbor to measure with his tape measure how far it is between your fingers. If it is > 40", then the screen is > 40".

Tune in tomorrow when I walk you through how to cook a hotdog in the microwave.

Now should I pull it across the viewable screen... or the whole screen in general? #gonnadothat

I noticed that also. I think it's because the NSX40's screen extends "almost" to the edge.
The majority of HDTV's have a larger border outside of the screen
