I leave it in standby mode so it turn on quickly and last night I started to hear a "click..... click" every minute or so. I looked at the TV, and sure enough, the little red standby light would go out, then "click.... click" and it came back on. I turned on the set and it did it's long boot up (no longer in standby) and by the time it was fully booted up and a channel appeared... "click.... click", it power cycled again.

    :(

So, I unplugged it from the wall so I could go back to sleep.

What a bummer. No guide data, and now an apparent power supply issue.

    Anyone seen this behavior?

Hey you might have a defective unit, but try this if you can, go to Settings-About-Factory Data Reset. This might fix your problem, or not, worth a try.

    Hope this helps :)

I seen this type behavior with my computer. Not sure if it's the same thing, but try turning it off then unplugging it and unplug any cords using the same outlet as your google tv and just plug the tv in the empty outlet.

If I am right the outlet may be trying to draw too much power with the tv and other devices and that is why testing the outlet with just the tv cord in it and no surge protector either may tell you if that outlet is overloaded.
