    Here is a fix:

    1. Open the Google Chrome.

    2. Click the Options key (located on the keyboard between Alt and Ctrl keys).
    3. Select Settings.
    4. Select Advanced settings.
    5. Select Under the Hood (located on the left side menu).
    6. Click on Adobe Flash Player storage settings...
    7. Select Global Storage Settings panel.
    8. On the box that opened (at the center of the screen) you should see a bar. You need to scroll the arrow to the right until it says Unlimited.
    9. Now select Website Storage Settings panel
    10. Now scroll the arrow to the right until it says Unlimited.
    11. Click on Delete all sites and then Confirm.

jazz, I followed the above. First thing I notice is that the Website Storage Settings always resets to 0. I watch YouTube in Chrome and for the last week Flash has always crashed on every video. Very strange.

Apparently Google has recently made some kind of change to the YouTube web site and it is giving GTV devices fits. There is a thread about this issue here:

Thanks Cat, that is what is happening. I too am not a fan of the YouTube app. Sad that Google has lost interest in GTV. I have only GTV, no cable at all. I also have the original GTV box. IT was a great idea.

    Hey,

As per my understanding of your problem it seems that the Adobe Shockwave Flash Player crashes repeatedly while using Google Chrome web browser. In that case I would like you to resolve conflicts between two different versions of Flash, check for compatibility issues with the plug-ins, also known as extensions; check if the sandbox feature conflicts with your browser, and so on. Let us go through step by step tutorial.

Check Conflicts between two Different Versions:
    1. Open Google Chrome web browser.
    2. Type "about:plugins" in the Address Bar.
    3. Press ENTER.
    4. Check for the entry of "Adobe Shockwave Flash". Expand the same.
    5. You'll find two different versions, viz. internal and externally installed one.
    6. Disable the external version so that there would be no more conlicts in between.

Check Compatibility Issues with Plug-Ins and Extensions:
    1. Click the Wrench icon on top right corner of your screen.
    2. Select Tools, and then Extensions.
    3. Disable all extensions that appear in the list.

    Disable the Sandbox Feature:
    1. Right click Google Chrome desktop icon.
    2. Select Properties.
    3. Click the Shortcut tab.
    4. Focus the Target textbox.
    5. Add the following line next to the existing path specified in the textbox: "--no-sandbox" (DO NOT add the quotes)
    6. Click Apply, and then OK.
For more guidelines and troubleshooting info, please watch this video.
