After Google stopped its partners from displaying their products based on Google TV, Samsung and Vizio declared that they will go by the launch as planned earlier. The manufacturers say they will introduce Google TV products at CES no matter what.

According to Times, Vizio however will display its Google TV-based products in a private room instead of showing them on the main floor. On the other hand, Samsung’s choice to stick to the earlier plan without Google’s concord is not a new thing.

Samsung has done the same thing with the Android 2.2-based Samsung Galaxy Tab as well. According to PcWorld, at the launch of Samsung’s tablet, Hugo Barra, one of the Google’s (PMD) Product Management Director for Mobile, said that “Android OS 2.2 wasn’t intended for tablets”. Samsung has recently declared that it sold one million of its tablet devices.

I agree with them. They're probably as frustrated with Google as we owners of products that use the Google TV software.
