    I need your help.

I went from Dish 722 receiver to Comcast HD DTA. Please tell me the right way to connect and if it will work.

Revue HDMI to TV - No change
Revue HDMI which was going to Dish 722 should go to the only HDMI port on Comcast HD DTA?
The cable outlet which was going to 722 should go to Comcast HD DTA.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    That's correct

Comcast HD DTA box (hdmi out jack) > hdmi cable > (hdmi-in jack) Revue ((hdmi out jack) > hdmi cable > (hdmi-in jack) TV
Comcast/service coaxial cable > (cable-in port) Comcast HD DTA box

Not sure about the last, Dish connects to a satellite dish via cable, connecting that cable to a cable box will do nothing.

(went from Dish to Comcast) He meant the coaxial cable from wall outlet. Probably it’s already switched to Comcast (at the other end). But I think the OP was more interested of verifying Revue/DAT hdmi connection. I hope the response wasn’t a minute too late… ;)
