If I turn on my Sony NSZ-GS7 STB,and then my tv a few seconds later, sometimes it shows an error caused by the HDMI syncing/resolution phase glitching out and makes the resolution a weird stretched/squished size where you can only see part of the UI zoomed in.

We need to find a way to get this somewhat annoying glitch fixed somehow.

Maybe this will already be fixed in the 4.2.2 upgrade whenever it comes out.

You may wanna list the TV make/model (& all other hdmi connected devices).

Anyway, this could be HDMI handshake issue.

    Try to,

    • Change GS7 video settings from 1080p(Auto) to 720p
    • Replace HDMI cables with “High-speed HDMI cables”

    Check out this link.

This is not a big deal to me,I just posted for reference to anyone else that needs this problem eradicated.

My polaroid tv works perfectly in non-default 1080p with my Sony NSZ-GS7.

The glitch also changes your picture size forcing you to go and set it back to normal again.

Also:LOLFAILZ topic typo "reolution" stupid typos.
