Just hooked up theNSZ-GT1 and like it except for one thing: when I power off the TV (via the TV remote) I would prefer that it NOT power off the NSZ-GT1 and cable box. Two reasons: I'd prefer not to wait for the NSZ-GT1 and cable box to boot up; and, the cable box seems to require some time to acquire guide information upon power on when it gets powered off this way. The NSZ-GT1 is connected via HDMI between a Comcast DCX-3400 cable box/DVR and a Pioneer PDP-5020FD TV, with the IR blaster to the DCX-3400 but not the Pioneer. Thanks!

Never mind. I installed a new surge protector that was smarter than I was. When the TV was plugged into the surge protector Master outlet, powering off the TV powered off all devices plugged into the Secondary outlets. Now fixed.
