I was using handbrake to convert dvd to an MP4 to play on my Revue(and also my ipod) id say 90% seem to work but for some reason certain files show up with sound only. They play fine on the computer. I'm sure there probably is something on handbrake i'm not setting up correctly. Anyone else ripping DVDs that can be both played on the revue & a classic ipod that can give me some pointers?

First of all, the MP4 file extension is indicative of the MP4 file container. And a file container only defines how the different streams inside of the file are interleaved to provide a linear timeline between them. Since Google TV understands how to read fragmented streams inside this format, the issue of compatibility was probably due to the encoded video stream that was streamed to it.

I would recommend trying the files which only has audio on a USB drive plugged into the Revue. This way you can figure out if it is a problem with the native file or how it was streamed. If it is with the file then download and install MediaInfo (http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en) for your computer. This will allow you to determine the differences of the streams that are contained with each file. Compare your working files with the partially working files. You should be able to figure out the differences. You can even post the results of a file here if you are unable decipher or do not understand the output.
