You actually have to click on the link and setup an account to sign the petition.
I setup an account for the "unlock bootloader". Intresting site. I'ts ridiculus that the "Revue" and the 720p camera are married for life in the name of "Vid".
I bought the Revue and a Revue w/Cam. Even though I have not set either up yet, I find the Revue w/cam something I might have to return.
Seems like a great deal, and I should be able to sell the cam, it just seems so "stupid" on the part of Logitech, I worry.
It's possible to use the Logitech Revue vidcam with most anybody that has a computer and webcam. They just need to download the free Logitech Vid software on their computer first.
I know. But I have to "disable" my MS v5000(or something) drivers to run Win7's generic drivers for my computer to use the cam.
Any tricks?....Knowledge is power. lol
Skype on the revue would be awesome..... Except that I believe it's owned by microsoft and they have no intention of helping a competitor.
Sad that mergers and acquisitions stifle the market in this way. What goggles needs to do is use the gtv platform to promote their methods for video conferencing and get it out there. I don't even know what their product is. Is it something related to google voice? Whatever it is it doesn't sound like it works with the revue or gtv. That's just bad marketing.
Incidentally, I use asus video phones with Skype and they work well. They connect to any Skype client with a camera.

Not whilst the petition contains
"Many of us bought Logitech Revue after promises(on logitech forums and in media) that there will be a Skype version for the device"
as I believe this to be untrue.
I desperately would love to have Skype on this device, but can not sign this petition.
A petition that just asked for Skype on Google TV.... in a heartbeat,
99 out of 15,000 sigs.....the chinese proverb of the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step is applicable here.
BTW M$ wants skype to be multiplatform as its available on competing OSes, devices, etc. After all it is already on android devices, so it should not be difficult to add GTV to support.
Separate names with a comma.
