    Hi,

Is there any way to bypass the audio via optical output on the GT1?

My surround receiver has DTS/DD support up to 96/192khz, the TV doesn't it seems.
When streaming MKV files higher than 48khz resolution then the TV can't decode. Perhaps the same issue as with Samsung TVs, Samsung didn't want to pay for the DTS/DD licensing fee so it's somewhat limited.
On a samsung you can bypass the audio fully, so that the optical output simply transports the audio, uncoded to the receiver.
The Sony GT1 doesn't as far as I know.

Is there an advanced menu or a service menu on the GT1 where you can adjust it?
