    The big thing is a browser configured for HDTV. They had a good one with GoogleTV, and I agree that they won't be going "back there."

    I haven't hooked-up my NVIDIA Shield yet. But when I do, I'll be testing whatever browsers that are out there on it.

    The thing is, I still like the Sony GS8, probably more now than ever. The streaming/Dolby audio pass-through remains first rate, and apps like the excellent Netflix native app, or RepliGo Reader, Printer Share and IMDB are perfect for my particular needs. When enough websites become version-obsolete, that'll have to be the end of the GoogleTV box though.
