Hi, I have the 40" Sony Google TV, everything seems to work fine. But there was no user guide in the box, is that normal? Also is there a way to down load and install Quicktime in Google Chrome on the Google TV?
    Thank you.

Right, just what I need someone trying to talk over a very loud crowd, not. I am looking for the small inside the box details about how to use the system, with an explanation of each and every function. So does your answer mean there is no manual in the box?

    Hi Punkyclown.
I'm sure that if you look up, on Sony's website, you will at least be able to see the owners manual pdf file..
    So, Sony.com it.

I was also kinda surprised that there was no actual "user manual" in the box. Just a getting started manual and a little booklet that explained the most very basic things. My guess would be that things with these devices will change with all the updates and that a printed manual would be out-of-date almost immediately.

I have been finding out information about the Google TV from their website - (mentioned in the previous post), these forums (a lot of good information here) and a few other places on the web.

It will take a while to find everything that the thing can do - but I have no doubt it will be worth the effort. So far, I am really enjoying discovering new things each day.

As far as installing Quicktime - I don't think that would be possible. If Google decides to add quicktime support to the browser, it would be done with an update to the system itself.

    Enjoy your new TV :)
