Apparently we missed the memo, but luckily a new press release was just issued that re-shares this info, but OnLive, the cloud gaming service, will be partnering with Marvell and are creating an app that allows you to use their service on certain Google TV devices. There was some confusion and contradictory news articles about future OnLive support in the new Sony GTV devices - after Sony purchased the gaming company Gaikai (which is a competitor to OnLive). Yes Sony runs the Marvell Armada 1500 chip - but they came out with a statement after they purchased Gaikai saying they (Sony) were dropping OnLive support in their new GTV boxes. However subsequently Onlive refuted Sony's statement by claiming OnLive is an app and will be on GTV devices - as such Sony won't be blocking it. Anyone have any clarification on this issue?
