netflix on google apps-- mission impossible

    i put my friends account info for a while, she allowed me to till i was able to get netflix once i got it i tried logging off her account to put mine in the google tv app but so far it has been mission impossible....i could use some help please any will do thanks!

    I think you have to factory reset the Google TV device. Or you could try going into settings and then delete the Netflix application data and cache....but I think I remember reading that someone tried that and it didn't work. So for sure a device factory reset will do it. Just go to settings/about/factory reset.

    They use the old Kanomi code to reset the Netflix settings ... Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right Select or something... Once you call in, be sure to note what the sequence is so you can post it here.

    Neat Thewilliams1! I Googled it and found it on a few other forums. I tested it and it works! You actually get an interesting hidden menu page with your account information and you can choose to back out and not reset.

    Reset (deactivate) Netflix Account on Google TV:
    Launch Netflix App
    Enter the following key sequence:

    Up
    Up
    Down
    Down
    Left
    Right
    Left
    Right
    Up
    Up
    Up
    Up
    (you'll now see an account information page)
    then click "deactivate" (or you can choose to back out and not deactivate)

    Or you can just go to www.netflix.com and then click on "Your Account and Help", then select "Manage Netflix ready devices and computers" and then you would "Deactivate" the device.

    I switched accounts by removing the device from the account authorized (on netflix) and then added it back once I went to Netflix again. Worked fine for me.
