Is anyone else having an issue with Netflix app connecting to Internet since update? When I launch it gives an error that Netflix cannot connect to Internet. I plugged in ethernet cable to see if it was an issue with the wireless and same issue. With ethernet cable connected I'm also getting intermittent "network disconnect" message on screen. I've swapped out router and no change.. Driving me mad at this stage

    Try doing a factory reset.

I've tried a factory reset using the menu and the hard boot method.. No change.. Google search is showing me there are others out there with the same problem but no fix yet

As you can see from the following thread the reported fix for Netflix not working after the update is the factory reset:

    https://plus.google.com/+SebastienAstie/posts/iX6fT8VjNat

Some people in other threads said they had to try the factory reset twice before it works.

This could be a new issue based on a problem on Netflix's side. It's hard to tell. Have you tried calling LG and Netflix support?

One other thing you can try is going to your system settings and force stopping & clearing data from the Netflix app.

Thanks catfish.. If reset a few times, cleared data and did a hard reboot with setting and down button clearing everything.. This error is different in that it's not stalling it's just not connecting.. The other thing is the network disconnect error popping up on screen even when I'm just watching TV.. See this threadGoogle Groups

I see. Hopefully LG/Google will get this fixed soon. This is just a guess - but maybe setting a static IP would help this issue.

    good thinking...

i did a little research and found that many LG products are currently having an issue with netflix...sometimes im seeing an error codes (NW-3-6, TVP-801/805, AIP-701) and from what i see its a connecting to netflix's server issue...

try changing your DNS to 4.2.2.2 and see if that works..
