Well, here are the stats of a couple files I tried to play:
    Container: XVID
    Frame Rate: 23.976 fps
    Resolution: 640 X 272 pixels
    Video Bitrate: 557 Kbps

    Audio Codec: MPEG Audio (MP3)
    Bitrate: 96.0 Kbps
    Channel Count: 2 channels
This one does not play at all,

Tried mkv with ac3 audio - no audio,
also AVI (xvid codec), mp3 sound - nothing. I tried to play through "play point" and also got and "Avio" app - same result.
I have WD Live TV plus in another room which never gave any problem with any file.
    Any more suggestions please?

If it is possible to get me a sample file that won't play on your Co-Star, I would see what I can find on this end. I don't think the Co-Star is a very good player for local files and don't use it for that purpose, I use the Sony NSZ-GT1 Google TV for local files.

Wikipedia indicates Yahoo mail using the built in large file attachment can send up to 100MB. I sent my Yahoo email to you by PM, see if you can figure out how to do it, assuming it is possible.

ralex59, i'm having the same problem..

But checking the forum i discovered that the solution is buying an app called "ViMu player" that costs around US$ 3,00.

And plays MKV's or Xvids with Ac3 audio and also subtitles.

    I didn't try yet.
