I noticed this morning that there are 13 different Chrome.exe *32 processes in the task manager. I tried to delete them individually and reboot. They are still there. Three questions: 1) are these from prior "casting" to the TV that did not end when I ended the cast session. 2) How do I correctly end the cast without generating these phantom processes. 3) since a reboot and delete does not solve the problem do I have to reinstall? These 13 sessions are taking up about 8 gb of my memory. It is slowing video playing

Each Chrome extension takes an entry.

Each tab, plugin, extension runs as its own process. If flash or something else decides to crash it won't take your entire browser down.
