There doesn't seem to currently be a way to use this with Google TV? So after our Android 3.1 update will we be able to download this Browser as an app and use it instead of Chrome - or in conjunction with Chrome browser?? If not then what would be the point of being a supporting vendor? Hmmmm.

Well upon reading their web site further they have a mobile browser for android (the full version is for Windows). However the android mobile browser uses touchscreen. So my best guess is there might be a modified mobile android version for Google TV (without touchscreen) or they just feel that a lot of people on the forum have an Android mobile device so this is a good place for them to advertise. The full Windows version has all sorts of ad blockers - thus I don't think Google (that sells ads) would be too thrilled about another browser like that replacing Chrome on Google TV?

Very good point on both things..

The ads would more than likely be a deal breaker for google, as in blocking them..

I also don't use an android here, just an Apple Iphone here.......

This forum is owned by the same company that has a lot of Android based forums (I'm a mod on some of them). Maxthon is a supporting vendor for the whole group, not just this site.

I've tried the browser, and I quite like it, but I mostly use ChromeOS, which means I also use the Chrome browser. When I'm not using ChromeOS I'm using Linux...

They may not be suitable for everyone, but they are a supporting vendor, and they do provide a great product...

Does this mean Maxton is developing a Google TV compatible browser which will be available upon its access to the Android Market.
