Does your GS7 cap out at 3000-4000 kbps on wifi? Pretty low for a streaming device if you ask me..

Also, some applications that I installed on the box don't work with an Ethernet connection but works with wifi. Does anyone know how to fix that?

I don't see any caps on speeds. I just purchased an NSZ-GS7 and checked using Speakeasy. I have up to 12Mbps using AT&T U-verse.

    Speakeasy Speed Test

    Your Speed Result:
Download Speed: 13406 kbps (1675.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1356 kbps (169.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

I have never used ethernet with Google TV but any apps running on Wi-Fi only wouldn't make any sense so I suspect something else is going on, specific to your network.

I would check your home network. It sounds like a faulty ethernet cable.... Also WIFI can be spotty when streaming HD video so I would direct connect if possible.

Netflix would not work on my box on Ethernet. I don't have a standard setup, but everything else works over Ethernet.
