SUMMARY: It’s unbundling time! Univision is the latest broadcaster to announce that it plans to stream videos to customers that don’t have a pay TV subscription.

First HBO, then CBS and now… Univision: The Spanish-language broadcaster plans to bring live and on-demand streaming to cord cutters, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

Looks like on-line a la carte is coming.

I caught the end of a conversation on the radio today about network on-line streaming (so I don't know if it was speculation or a "leak"), something about ESPN charging $35 a month for an on-line streaming subscription.

With Netflix at $9/mo for current subscibers, ESPN wouldn't be doing a lot for their entry-into-on-line public relations with that price point.

However, this (a la carte online network streaming) could be a net plus for box sales, overall.
