Logitech Says The Revue Google TV Is Headed TO CES Tuesday 28th December 2010 Last week we told you that Google had asked a number of its Google TV partners to hold off showing their products at CES, this was down to the fact that Google has a software update coming out for Google TV devices which is reported to fix many of the problems. A number of sites reported that Logitech would be suspending production of their Revue Google set , but Logitech has now responded and has said that there is nothing wrong with their Revue Google TV and that they will be showing it off at CES 2011. At Logitech we usually refrain from commenting on rumors and speculation. But I cant ignore the recent puzzling speculation that Google has asked Logitech to suspend production of Logitech Revue to address software issues. Logitech and Google continue to have a collaborative, effective working relationship as we listen to consumer feedback and work together on enhancements to the Google TV platform. We at Logitech are enthusiastic about Google TV and our role in bringing this new platform to U.S. consumers. Logitechs Revue team will be heading to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in early January, where we look forward to demonstrating how Google TV is transforming the TV-watching experience. So I guess that clears that up then, we can expect to see the Logitech Revue at CES 2011, and possibly Sonys range of Google TVs, although it still isnt clear if we will see any other devices from other manufacturers . Logitech Says The Revue Google TV Is Headed TO CES | Geeky Gadgets Guess we will know shortly what the REAL story is??????
What The ???? Why wait to respond when these rumors (if they really were) were not only posted all over the Web but also in the print media? Had to hurt sales of GTV. Strange to take so many days to respond, or was another decision made, now for denial and move forward?
