Obviously Flash is still very popular - but isn't it really Google's goal to someday replace Flash with HTML5? They already have a HTML5 beta player on YouTube. (I read that the GTV 3.1 update will support hardware acceleration for HTML5 w/ VP8 codec. This is good because that is the format that Google is using for their HTML5 on YouTube.)
