    Hi all,

Has anyone tried hooking up a regular keyboard and mouse to the GS7/GS8 ? Maybe buetooth or USB model?

    Cheers!

I use the Logitech K700 keyboard, it is an RF keyboard made for Google TV and it works really well. I also briefly paired a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard, it worked but not well enough that I would use it. As far as a mouse, I suspect a Logitech unifying receiver mouse would work well enough but I haven't used one, the K700 touchpad works for me.

It would be nice if some company would make a Bluetooth keyboard designed for Google TV but so far, I don't think that has happened and I don't think any keyboard designed for other uses will beat the K700.

I just picked up GS7 open box at Best Buy for $75 no remote. Ordered NSG-MR7U remote for $50 from Sony. Placed in service replacing Logitech Revue. Will use Revue else where, so want to keep K700 with it.

Tried some usb mice/keyboard, none felt right. I then took my Motorola Bluetooth Xoom keyboard and Logitech Blue Bluetooth mouse and paired with GS7. Both feel good in combination with the new Sony mike. The Home button, speaker buttons, last, and window key (content menu) work from the keyboard.

No saying for Quick Guide remote's mike that I can find. No keyboard equivalent for Quick Guide on moto. Looks like I will be using new remote, moto keyboard, logitech mouse together.
