It's 11 P.M. - Do You Know Where Your TV Remote Is? Washington, D.C. (March 29, 2011) -- How many ways can you lose your TV's remote control? Well, according to a new poll from Logitech, let us count the ways. The company, which manufactures Google TV set-tops among other things, says it interviewed "thousands of people," asking them where they are most likely to find their remotes after losing them. The number one answer: The couch, where 49 percent of respondents said they discovered it. However, eight percent said they have found the remote in the bathroom (the mind boggles at which channel they were trying to change there); eight percent also said they found it in a dresser drawer (perhaps the remote can change clothes as well as channels); while four percent found it in the fridge or freezer. Finally, two percent said they have found the remote outside or in the car. Not really surprising -- who wouldn't want to use a remote to change a few things outside, like your next door neighbor or that paper boy who seems hell bent to throw your paper in a wet ditch every morning. I find that buying $400 remotes is good enough incentive to always know where is. If you lose your Dish 922remote you can page it. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
