Issues starting Market App

    I cannot open the Market in my Sony Internet TV, when I try to open the market a screen appears showing "It's necessary update Market for Google TV" the only option it shows is Updating. I left it there for 20 minutes and nothing happened.

    I'm not trying to download an application, I'm just trying to open the Market App in my TV (I don't have the Google Play option, only Market option).

    Could someone help me with this?

    As long as you have the icon still saying "Market" then you are going to have some issues. That app has been thoroughly deprecated and you MUST upgrade to "Play".

    I had the same issue and think I may solved it.. in fact I did, but something happened last night that I will have to double check. Let me find the link to that thread for you...
