I tried 3 times, froze everytime for me using a Sony NSZ-GT1. I don't know the cause.

Carlszone may have answered the question earlier today. He wrote: "Because I am always perusing news sites I see the steady deterioration of our browser that I feel is memory related. Speeding up the browser w/improvements to Chrome w/out adding Ram is like putting a V-8 engine on a Volkswagen w/out replacing the carburetor.

An example: When I go to a webpage and there is a vdeo, our browser strains to load it. Once it loads the cache is often full. A Force Close is inevitable. An improved browser will allow for faster loading, but that only means that I will see the Force Close prompt sooner."

The prompt that I received was "wait or force close".

Whenever I run into a web page that feezes or causes the browser to crash - I then try it with the mobilizer: http://mowser.com/

Here is the link to the mobilized CNET page using Mowser:

    Toshiba Excite 10 AT305-SP0201L User Reviews (tablet - Android 4.0 - 16 GB - 10.1") - Tablets - CNET Reviews (via Mowser)

Mowser will load every time - usually it fills my needs - however on occasion it will not display all the information from the full web page. Is the Mowser version acceptable for you?

For those that are interested - Google has a 'mobilizer' that functions in a similar manner to Mowser. It's just got a bit of a different look & feel to it:
