Hello - Recently I bought a Sony Internet TV (NSX-40GT1) and I connected it to Sony BDV-HZ970W 3D Blu-Ray Home Theater System through HDMI cable. When I connect the home theater, the internet on the sony TV does not work. When I turn off the home theater, the internet works. I am using a wireless network. On the sony internet TV, it says obtaining ip address and doesn't do anything after that. I am quiet frustrated with this......Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

The wireless rear speakers of the home theater system might be interfering with the wireless networking on the television. I would recommend in getting a HomePlug AV Powerline Network kit instead. This will avoid issues with wireless networking. There are great models made by both Logitech and Netgear.
