I am looking to give a family member in Panama a NSZ-GS7 and was wondering if they will be able to update and use the google play store sense GTV is not currently supported in this country.
    thanks

Other than that, it's perfectly usable outside the United States. With the understanding that certain websites have geo-restrictions embedded in them. Those websites won't even be accessible with a Windows computer.

Edit: The cable TV-viewing part of the Google TV experience will not be functional, unless you connect the device to a VPN (Virtual Private Network). But for internet stuff, GTV works decently outside the U.S.

Guest, I think you got it backwards. Have another coffee? The cable will work fine with a Set top box and HDMI output connected to the GTV input. Web video would need a VPN for USA content. I recommend unblockusa for it's abiltiy to keep your internet providers speed higher than other VPN's.

Also why the user name guest? Makes it sound like your just passing through here yet I noticed your becoming a frequent poster here which is nice to see.

    Cheers
