How can I install "incompatible" apps from the market in order to test their compatibility?
    I couldn't find a way. :(

I have no other android devices.

bkdg100, thanks for your reply :), however I am looking for a way to test new apps, that were not tested and are therefore not yet in that dropbox.
    Maybe i wasn't clear enough...

The best way is to contact the developer and ask them if they have a version that is compatible with Google TV. Some may even give you a link to a private repository that they give to privileged beta testers. Otherwise, try performing a Google search for with the app name + APK. I'm sure you'll find other repositories where you can download it.

if you have a rapidshare filesonic ect account , you can download complete sets of apk collections from all over . just google "android collection" or seek out a specific app by name . if you find you like it , reward the developer by purchasing it ,.... i would suggest you get a tool package of apps like file managers, system info , kill app , orientation adjuster ect . so you can manage your testing and clean the crap up and out of your system as you test .

Nevermind. For those interested... Permit the TV to download apps outside the marketplace. Within "All Apps" a "downloads" icon will appear. Launch it, then click on the APK to install.
