On the Hisense web site it says this TV has a dual core 1.2 GHz processor. That means the processor is probably the Marvell Armada Plus processor. I didn't see any mention of RAM or storage. IMO it probably has 1 GB of RAM.

To whoever has the ability it might be a good idea to add a Hisense section under TV section. Hisense is going to release a bunch more this year in addition to this one and the 40" that has been out since late last year. This TV is a Google TV.

I wonder what models of Hisense android TVs in the USA will come with the quad-core processor?

As you can see from the following article Hisense has a line of android Vision TVs in Australia that have a quad-core processor - they also cost quite a bit more than the USA models (thus far). The Australian Hisense Vision 55" quad-core TV costs $1379 (in USA dollars).

The article from OP mentioned that the H6 TV is a step down from the H7 Vidaa TV line - so maybe the Vidaa line will be quad-core?

Maybe they are releasing this as the budget line and like you said the VIDAA line will be the Quad Core releases for the US.

I couldn't see the official name of the product. Smart TV with Google Services or Android TV or Google TV or what?

When Mine (40" Vision Model) boots up it says "Hisense - Powered by Android"

However these have all of the making of Google TV including Primetime and it runs all of the GTV versions of applications.

Negative association with the Google TV name must be the reason for Hisense to take that approach, clearly it is Google TV but the name has been retired.

Personally I think they are just staying in line with upcoming changes. The current Firmware does not mention Android at all. A few of us received a special FW update to fix an issues that we were having. I am assuming that the FW will be released to everyone after I/O.

The Hisense HDTV comes with built-in Chromecast. Maybe the Pulse Pro box has it, too.

It'll be interesting to see who wins in U.S. sales, LG or Hisense. LG is already a well known brand, and has that advantage, but on the other hand, Hisense will probably deliberately beat LG's prices in order to get into the market. However, I'd like to see if the public ends up buying one or the other based on a preference for one or the other's OS.

Hisense Australia posted this one 3 days ago and my Hisense Vision works like they show as well -

I wish +Hisense USA was excited about the Vision as the Australia branch as they are showing the Vision in videos and have more information on their websites and doing it right.
