I have had HBO GO for over a year, it is really good but I don't see it being worth $15/month to me. I was hoping for $10/month but this doesn't surprise me. I guess we will see soon enough if there is a market at that price.

It better stream as well as Netflix.

Right now I'm watching season #3 of "House of Card" on Netflix, and it streams in SuperHD and DD+ audio at $7.99/mo, with much more overall content than HBO GO. HBO Go can deliver current HBO series content, but that's its main "hook."

I can see HBO Now being worth about the same as Netflix, the original content from HBO is second to none in my opinion but it does not have the variety Netflix or Amazon Prime offers.

“HBO Now” ($14.99/mo) first month free if you join in April. However, the initial launch will be exclusively on Apple TV.

Edit: now looks like the exclusive window will only last 3 month.

So, it looks like Apple gets the exclusive streaming rights of the entire first-run of "Game of Thrones" season #5.

AppleTV also has an upgrade coming up.
