I recently set up our new sony google tv and there is an unacceptable delay when using the remote to change channels when just watching regular tv through our comcast DVR. Can this be corrected? I'm not sure the IR Blaster is installed correctly as there are two receivers attached to single plug. Does one go at the DVR and one at tv. Instructions are pretty limited.

Yeah, those IR blasters will replay the IR signals send by your Google TV device. You should position them so that their pointing to your external AV components. You don't have to point the IR blaster at the Google TV device itself because it will sort that out internally. However, you'll need to use those IR blasers to relay the signals to control your 3rd party equipment.
