Hi all. I recently updated google play music (all access) and now I am unable to search for anything. The search bar in the upper right seems to have disappeared. In other words, there is no place to type next to the magnifying glass. I've tried a hard reset, but in order to use the all-access version of google play, it is necessary to update from the base version pre-installed on the NSZ-GS7. Is there any way to update to a previous version? thanks

Try going to the Google Play Store and move your cursor over the Google Music app like you were going to install it - and then look to see if there is an option to "uninstall". If there is then try uninstalling and see if it reverts back to the previous version.

This is something that's been going on for a while and Google needs to fix it.

In the meantime I saw the following workaround mentioned on another thread:

** The only way i got it to work was to click the Shop button on the left nav bar, that will take you into the Music category of the Play Store **
