Does anyone here use Google Apps (GAPPS)? I have my own domain and I'm having issues logging into my Google TV device (Sony with newest GoogleTV firmware installed). I get an error that the password doesn't match the account. I've tried both my password and my 1 time use generated password for 2 part authentication and it doesn't seem to work. I don't have these issues with my Android phone.

    Here is my setup.

Google TV setup: Cisco Explorer 8642HDC DVR from Time Warner Cable > Onkyo TX-SR806 > Sony NSZ-GT1 Blu-ray > LG 55LV5500 TV

The question is, are you using the two step authentication? and did you create an application specific password for Google TV?

I thought it was pretty obvious from my post that I was using two step authentication and that I tried an application specific from my post. Just to clarify, yes I have 2 Step activated. I have tried both my real password and I've tried an application specific password.

I'm going to disable 2 step later today and see if the issue issue continues without it or not.

It is loosely implied but wasn't specific. Remember when dealing with issues that should be working, definitive information helps understand the situation better. For example, I don't know whether you turned on the two-step verification process because you had problem logging into your Google Account and thought that it might have helped.

Btw, did you generate an application specific password for Google TV? or are you recycling a previously generated password?

I always create a new password, since 2 part authentication doesn't allow resuse of passwords.

Just checking, I've helped a few people in the Logitech support forums which weren't aware of that fact. And they tried copy & pasting old passwords that they had originally created for other applications.

Removing 2 part authentication seems to have resolved the issue. I will reenable 2 part authentication tonight and see if the issue returns when I turn it back on a use a need code...
