So Thursday Netflix worked fine. Friday, nothing. I called Netflix. They told me they no longer support Netflix 3.0 (what I have), and I need to upgrade. I asked how do that and they said call Sony. I called Sony. They politely told me to eat a dick and I'm not getting anything new, ie a classic run around. Neither support is willing to help. Google Support points me to Sony. Any ideas? I've never rooted a device. If that is what it takes, that's what it takes. Since Netflix and Amazon Prime are the main things I used it for, I'll gladly do it.
