Just purchased a Logitech revue (not yet arrived) but was wondering what External HDD limitations it might have,
I read somewhere that 895 mb was the maximum,
I have a WD 2 TB drive, has anyone plugged in largish external drives into Logitech Revue
Or should I be looking at a DNLA capable NAS device...

    Thanks :)

NTFS formatted drives are not supported at the moment so if your drive is formatted in FAT32 you should have no problem.

Note that the Chrome browser cannot download files to the external drive, so depending on your needs it might not matter anyway. The use I know of for an external drive is to load videos on it from your computer and then plug it into the GTV to watch. Too much hassle for me - I prefer just streaming the files from my computer using Logitech Media Player.

Is there a way to watch videos on portable hard drive hooked up to downstairs revue on my upstairs revue. I have the one drive and would like to leave it downstairs and watch it in both locations. And no I don't have a desktop to stream it to both devices.

I believe this limitation was changed with a firmware update. The Revue now supports 2TB drives formatted NTFS. Search the Revue Logitech forum at Revue - Logitech Forums to verify. My first post in this forum so I could not enter the URL prefix.

You're best bet would be to get a NAS or router which supports USB devices as DNLA server.
