1. Sideloaded Dailymotion app. It upadted and now it crashes rt away...Anybody else having this issue? Any fix? 2. Some other apps that claim no flash player required do play the videos but extremely grainy so whats the point.I think they play fine on mobile but not on google tv.
Hey Bob, where you been hiding? Good to see you back. I tried scrounging around looking for an older version of the app. Present version 4.1 crashes when trying to play video, works good on my dongle. 4.0.1... same thing. Even when I went back to 3.1.05 it didn't work on the LG, crashed before I could see the videos. I see in the comments of the Playstore the update broke a few others app on a couple different devices Ok, I found a version that works, the UI is terrible compared to the new one though I started saving all the apps that work good in my dropbox app. That way if an update breaks (or blocks GTV), I can just go back and load the version that works. It doesn't always work, but it's saved me a couple times
Thanx Eric " The rescue man"...I will try this evening and keeping my fingers crossed. No I haven't been hiding just have almost given up on this google tv..as it was a big mistake.Without flash its not really worth it.
Sorry, I usually pull the link after a couple days. Let me know when you got it Here's another app that contains a lot of Dailymotion videos. It's not as good as DM but the UI is a lot nicer than the older version I linked on my dropbox. It'll load straight to your TV no sideload necessary https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mefeedia.tv
