Comcast Stream is streaming TV without a cable TV plan - Liliputing
Comcast is getting a lot smarter about competing with online streaming services such as Netflix. With the Comcast "Stream" service for $15/mo a subscriber gets 12 live channels (including HBO) - plus thousands of TV Shows/Movies on demand. On the surface this sounds like a good deal and IMO it should lure back some of the cord-cutters.
It sure looks like a great deal to me, much better than the other streaming packages I have read about like Sony Vue, Dish Network Sling TV and HBO Now. It isn't available here yet and we have a few months left of a promo from Comcast before I need to find something new.
Something else new from Comcast:

Not a bad price, but this bums me out: "Stream only offers live TV when you’re in your home — you can’t stream content over the internet when you’re away from the house, because the service is tied to you IP address."
Do you know anything about Nomad? I was reading this comparison of Dish and DTV and I had never heard of Nomad before. But yeah, the $15 a month seems hard to pass up if you get live tv. That's one thing I really want with a streaming app.
I haven't heard of Nomad.
