I wanted to start a thread dealing with MythTV and the Co-star. Especially MythTV OTA, which is simply awesome and as a cord-cutting cheapskate it is essential to fully enjoy OTA content. In my excitement over the Co-star, however, I failed to notice that it doesn't include the AC-3 audio codec which OTA employs. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Is there a great transcoding job that can provide relief? Also, what other ways are people using MythTV and the Co-star? I have considered getting a Zotac to host a real copy of MythTV's frontend, a BlueRay and the ability to stream live TV from my HD HomeRun - I don't have the new HD HomeRun Prime.
